How Much Spray Sunscreen Should You Use to Get Enough Sun Protection?
When using spray sunscreens, instead of spraying it directly onto your skin, I suggest spraying it onto your palms before applying it to your skin. That way, you know that all of the product goes onto your skin and not in the air where other people, including yourself, might inhale it.
It is harder to quantify how much sunscreen you've used with sprays; however, according to the American Academy of dermatology, apply spray sunscreens until your skin glistens, and that a typical 6-ounce bottle of spray sunscreen is good enough for six whole-body applications.
