SOLID-IN Lip Essence

SOLID-IN Lip Essence is a lip balm from Torriden, a Korean skincare brand. It features a proprietary blend of five types of ceramides, along with fatty acids and cholesterol, designed to help support the lips’ barrier function. The tube packaging makes it easy to use hygienically until the last drop, which is another plus.

Vitamin Enriched Face Base

The Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a great choice for those who struggle with dryness, tightness, and makeup breakdown throughout the day. In our test, 13 testers applied the product and wore it for six hours. Very few reported tightness or flaking. While some of the compared products began to feel dry over time, this one maintained a comfortable, hydrated feel.Although the texture feels rich in the jar, it melts smoothly into the skin upon application. It has a noticeable fresh citrus scent. When applied, it created a natural, healthy-looking glow without appearing overly shiny. testers described the finish as radiant but not greasy. If certain areas become too shiny, lightly blotting with a tissue can help control excess shine. After reviewing the formula, we found that it is primarily oil-based. Ingredients such as Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 and Shea Butter help prevent moisture loss by forming a protective barrier on the skin. While it also contains water-soluble moisturizing ingredients, the amount appears moderate. For best results, apply toner and lotion first to properly hydrate the skin before using this product. One thing to note is that the coverage is limited. What we mean is that it will not address major skin blemishes. Some testers commented that uneven skin tone and visible pores were still somewhat noticeable after application. This product is better suited for those with minimal skin concerns. If you have dark spots or prominent pores, using a concealer should help provide more coverage. The price is around ₱4,250 for 50 mL (based on the official store). It’s a good match for people with dry skin who want a naturally glowing finish that looks like healthy, well-prepped skin. However, it comes in a glass jar, which is not the most travel-friendly option. Some comparable products come in tube packaging that may be more convenient, so it’s worth considering your preference.Recommended For:Those who want a natural, healthy-looking glowThose who want to prevent dry, flaky, or cracked makeupThose looking for a moisturizing base that feels comfortable and not tightNot Recommended For:Those concerned about dark spots or highly visible poresThose sensitive to citrus fragrances

Cezanne Pearl Glow Highlighter

The Cezanne Pearl Glow Highlighter 01 Champagne Beige is ideal for those who prefer a bold, luminous glow rather than a subtle sheen. This affordable Japanese highlighter works especially well for events, parties, or full-glam makeup looks where you want your highlight to stand out.It contains large, highly reflective shimmer particles that create a bright, dimensional finish. The glow is noticeable and defined. If your goal is to enhance facial structure and achieve a radiant, sculpted look, this shade performs well. It is also relatively resistant to sweat and friction, making it a practical option in warm, humid conditions. One drawback is the included brush. It is small and slightly difficult to maneuver, and the product does not adhere as seamlessly as expected. Some powder fallout and slight white cast may occur depending on application and skin tone. The built-in brush is convenient for quick touch-ups, but for a smoother, more even application, a separate highlighter brush is recommended. As of writing, the price is around ₱420 on Lazada and Shopee, making it a fairly budget-friendly highlighter. Given its strong glow and affordable price point, it’s an easy option to try if you’re looking for a radiant Japanese highlighter without spending a fortune.

Zero Matte Lipstick

Rom&nd Zero Matte Lipstick No. 05 Evening is a great choice for anyone looking for an orange-brown lipstick that applies beautifully, even without advanced makeup skills. With just one swipe, it creates soft, blurred lips with a modern, on-trend look. The slim tip makes it easy to define the edges and apply color precisely, while the matte formula glides on smoothly without dragging. Despite its matte finish, it feels comfortable on the lips and is easy to work with, earning it high marks in our testing.Color payoff is another strong point. The calm, sunset-inspired shade looks true to color once applied and adds a natural flush that gives the lips a healthy, polished appearance. The finish has a subtle moisture to it, helping reduce the look of vertical lip lines. It also performed well in terms of staying power. During testing, pressing a tissue against the lips twice after application caused minimal color transfer. Thanks to its strong hold, it feels reliable even when wearing a face mask, making it a practical option for everyday use.

Light Reflecting Foundation

ProsLong-lasting finish that stays fresh for hoursMaintains a hydrated, radiant look even after extended wearLightweight formula that creates a natural, skin-like finishSmooth, fluid texture that blends easily across the skinAlmost fragrance-free, making it suitable for those sensitive to scentWide shade range with 15 colors and detailed undertonesPotential ConsCoverage is lighter compared with some competing foundationsPump bottle can feel stiff and may take time to get used toNARS Light Reflecting Foundation is a strong choice for days when you may not have time to touch up your makeup. When our testers checked their skin eight hours after application, many commented that their skin still looked hydrated and the foundation had stayed in place well. Compared with other radiant-finish foundations we tested, which often allowed oil to surface more easily, NARS Light Reflecting Foundation maintained a clean and polished look for longer. The finish was also impressive. Because the formula applies in a thin layer, it rarely looks heavy on the skin. This supports online reviews that say it creates a natural-looking, radiant complexion. Many radiant-type foundations in our comparison avoided looking overly made up, and this one was no exception. Similar to CHANEL Ultra Le Teint Fluide, it works well for people who prefer makeup that enhances the skin while still keeping a natural look.Testers also responded positively to the fresh, fluid texture. Some of the products we compared felt thicker, but this formula spread smoothly across the skin. Every tester commented that it blends easily and has good spreadability. Another advantage is that it is almost fragrance-free during use, making it less likely to bother people who are sensitive to scent. However, the packaging received mixed feedback. As some online reviews mention, the pump can feel stiff, so it may take some time to get used to dispensing the foundation smoothly. The shade range is another highlight. With 15 shades available, it offers more variety than many of the products we tested, more than half of which had only 10 shades or fewer. The shades are divided into detailed undertones and tones, making it easier to find a color that closely matches your skin. We used the shade "Deauville" in our testing.Coverage was the only area where the foundation was slightly less impressive. When we compared the skin before and after application, a competitor foundation reduced the appearance of pores by about 75%, while NARS Light Reflecting Foundation reduced them by around 57%. Overall, the number of noticeable pores decreased by about 33%.Because the formula focuses on a natural, skin-like finish, it does not provide very heavy coverage. It is best suited for those who prefer a light, radiant look rather than a heavy foundation. If stronger coverage is your priority, you may want to consider other foundations as well.

Juicy Lasting Tint

rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint No. 13 is recommended for those who want a modern, glossy red-brown shade that lasts for hours. The fresh, watery texture spreads lightly and adheres smoothly to the lips. The color appears softly diffused, as if it’s naturally blooming from within, creating an effortless and refined look. The plump, wet-looking shine also delivers exactly what the product claims. Its staying power stands out as well. Even after blotting twice with a tissue during testing, both the shine and color remained close to their freshly applied state, with very little transfer. Among glossy lip tints, it offers top-tier wear performance. It also quickly combines with cleansing oil and removes cleanly, leaving no pigment behind. Easy to use for beginners yet satisfying for experienced makeup users, this tint is a solid choice if you want to enjoy true-to-color lips for longer.
