The TSUBAKI Premium Ex Repair Mask is a good option for those looking for a quick, easy hair treatment. Among the products we tested, it was one of the few that required zero waiting time. After reviewing the formula, we found amino acid–based conditioning ingredients that help improve hair texture and smoothness.When tested on bleached hair samples, our testers rated the overall manageability as decent. Contrary to some online reviews, most of our testers were satisfied with the moisture level. Because it has a rich, oily feel, it may suit those with thick hair or high hair density. That said, it doesn’t overly weigh hair down, so even those with fine hair may still find it manageable.However, when it came to smoothness, reviewers noted some slight drag while combing. Instrument testing also showed a higher friction coefficient than the average of other products we compared.
