Clay mask is recommended to be done 1 to 2 times a week. If done too often, it may strip off natural oils of the skin, leading to a damaged skin barrier.
How Much Clay Mask Should You Apply?
The amount of clay mask must be just enough to cover the whole face. Just avoid applying too near the eyes since it may get inside and cause irritation.
Can You Use a Clay Mask if You Have Acne?
In a personal opinion, it is best to avoid putting on a clay mask if you have enlarged and inflamed acne because the stripping of the clay may pop a pimple.
