Star's Top 10 Beach Essentials

This sunscreen from Beach Hut is at the top of my beach essentials. I really love this product because not only does it have SPF100++, but it is also sweat- and water-resistant! 

Personally, I feel more confident knowing that my skin, especially my face, is well-protected using this than any other brand out there. Of course, to be safe, you still have to reapply every after 3 hours, but compared to other sunscreens that I've tried in the past where I would already feel my skin burning after an hour or two, this works wonders! 


I also like that it is easy to apply and doesn't leave a sticky feeling and white cast on the face or the bodyーjust spritz away, and you're ready to have ultimate fun under the sun!

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Of course, with the heat of the sun whilst you surf or tan, you'll need cold water for refreshmentーyou wouldn't want to look "dry," right? Hydro Flask keeps water super cold even through hours and hours of the scorching heat of the sun. 

Also, with its 32 oz capacity, it can surely keep you hydrated throughout the day, and it also calls for fewer drink refills. The scorching heat of the sun, along with the UVA/UVB ray, not only harm your skin but your lips as well! This is why your lips also need some sun protection. Why just protect your lips when you can also look fresh while doing so? 

What I love about this product is that it has SPF 15, it moisturizes my lips, and it leaves a nice flush of color. If you want to go for a natural fresh look, I suggest applying it in a soft, dabbing motion. A little goes a long way with this since it is quite pigmented!

On rare times that I don't surf, I like to indulge myself in the joys of tanning and relaxing. Because of my Asian yellowish skin tone and "flush" genes, I initially found it quite hard to achieve a really nice tan. This tanning oil from Beach Hut is a game-changer for meーmy tan has never looked so good! I easily get that "golden tan" look every time I use this.

I recommend this tanning oil for those who want to get a quick and gorgeous tan without having to lay under the sun for long hours. One thing that I'd like to note, though, is that this tanning oil does not provide much sun protection, so I think it would've been nicer if it had at least SPF 30.

Coconut oil has UV-filtering properties that can help protect your hair from sun damage, so I always put coconut oil on my hair after surfing. It also helps bring back moisture to the hair, and based on my experience, with regular use, it strengthens the hair, adds shine, and repairs damages as well.


I also like that I can use this product for my body, too! It can be used in place of lotions or creams to keep your skin soft and moisturized. To avoid a greasy look or malagkit feeling, apply this on your skin right after you get out of the shower.
